Our tutors have various backgrounds and experience. They hold advanced degrees or are specialists in the areas they tutor.
2. What is your methodology? Is tutoring customized?
We recognize that every student has different needs and approaches to learning. For this reason, our individually matched tutors strive to ensure each lesson is fitting to the unique needs of each student.
3. Do you work with children with learning disabilities?
We will provide your child the specific services and tutor to meet your child’s needs. Services will be provided that are consistent with your child’s individualized educational plan (IEP) or specialized services under Section 504.
4. Do you have a money back refund?
We back our service with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. This means that if you are not satisfied with our service in any way, we will give you a full refund for any unused sessions. Refunds will not be issued after the first session of a course or private tutoring program.
5. What is the Cancellation Policy?
Sessions may be canceled without penalty if the tutor is notified by phone or email 24 hours prior to the tutoring session.
6. How much are the tutoring sessions?
We offer various tutoring packages based on the amount of hours you contract for each month. Our hourly rates drop the more hours you pre-purchase. In general, our rates range from $50-$90 per hour.
7. Where is tutoring held?
Most of our tutoring sessions are held at our main office; however, tutoring sessions can either occur at mutually convenient locations or in the comforts of your home for a slightly higher rate. Arrangements can also be made to meet at a local library. Please note that a parent or guardian must be present for all in home sessions.
8. What kinds of materials are used?
Students are required to bring relevant subject materials for which they need help with, as well as necessary study aids such as calculators. Tutors may also recommend the purchasing of certain materials.
Whenever possible, official exam prep materials are used.
9. Do you provide references?
Excellent references are provided upon request.
10. How do you measure student progress?
We will measure your child’s needs and develop a plan for instruction that meets those needs. We will also meet with you to establish goals for your child. We will measure progress toward these goals that will be shared with you in a clear and useful way.
